Who we are

CoDraft is the controller for the processing of your data.

Which data we process

We process data from three sources.

• Scheduling a conversation on this site. Your name, your company name, your business email address and your phone number; if you choose a conversation at your own office, the address and the notes you add yourself as well. For a video call we put the appointment in our Microsoft calendar and create a Zoom meeting; Microsoft then sends you the invitation with the Zoom link.
• Email and phone. What you send or tell us when you get in touch yourself, including your email address and phone number.
• Technical data from the server. These are recorded automatically: your IP address and the time of your visit.

Why, and on what basis

• To answer your question and schedule a conversation. Basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken prior to it.
• If you are a customer, we use your data to do the work and to keep our records. Basis: performance of the contract and, for the records, a legal obligation.
• We use technical data to keep the site secure and working. Basis: legitimate interest.

We do not sell anything on to others and we do not use your data for advertising.

If we approach you ourselves

We look for companies that might benefit from our software. For that we use public sources: the Dutch Chamber of Commerce trade register, company websites and job boards.

In that case we keep business contact details and what can publicly be found about the company, to judge whether working together makes sense and to get in touch. Basis: legitimate interest.

Don't want us to get in touch? Email us at donald@codraft.nl and we'll delete your data. You don't have to give a reason.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries with no follow-up: 12 months.
• Customer data: for the duration of the collaboration plus 2 years.
• Invoices and records: 7 years, because the law requires it.
• Server logs: 30 days.
• Data about companies we approached ourselves: 12 months after the last contact.

Who we share with

To be able to work we use a handful of suppliers.

• Cloudflare — hosting of this website, the check for automated traffic when you schedule a meeting and, only with your consent, counting visits.
• Microsoft 365 — our email, our calendar and the invitation for a call.
• Zoom — the video call itself. Zoom receives your company name as the meeting title, and whatever you enter yourself when you join.

A data processing agreement applies with all of these parties. They may process data outside the EU, on the basis of the applicable European standard arrangements (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). Beyond that we share nothing with others, unless the law requires us to.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. What we do do: with your consent, count how many people visit the site and which pages they look at, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. That works without cookies and without a profile of you. If you say no, that script is not loaded and we measure nothing. We don't use advertising cookies. We keep your choice in your own browser and you can change it at the bottom of every page.

Do you have to give your data

No. But without a phone number we can't call you back.

Decisions

We don't make decisions about you that are taken entirely by a computer. There is always a human in between.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. If you see something that isn't right, email donald@codraft.nl — we'll pick it up straight away.

Your rights

You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to receive it in a file.

Email us and we'll arrange it within a month. If you disagree with how we handle it, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Customer data

If we build software for you, that involves drawings, prices and calculations. Those stay yours. What we may do with them and what we do with them is set out in the data processing agreement that comes with the assignment.
